About the club
York City Rowing Club is an active, thriving club with around 300 members based in the centre of York on the Ouse. They have a fine fleet of boats and a fantastic stretch of water on which to use them.
The results
- Replaced an aging drupal site which was not responsive and not used by the club
- Delivered on wordpress so more of the club management could have access and add content easily
- Used an available theme to create a personalised site based on club branding
- Delivered links to other portals for members
- Created bespoke plugin which monitors the river level and reports what members can and cannot do on the water
