About the business

Blake’s Kitchen is a new business venture from a young couple hoping to transform a village shop into a thriving heart of the community, offering delicious freshly made produce on site every day. Over time more parts of the business will be added, such as a bistro.

About the site

As designer and developer, I built their first online presence (along with other print works) to deliver:

• A fully responsive and customer engaging website
• A news blog for updates to their customers as their business continued to expand
• Built on Jekyll to utilise it’s blogging capabilities while delivering a site with less bloatware of typical blogginf engines
• Utilised collections for menus so products and prices could be updated without amending the html

The site has since been replaced and delivered on a shopping platform as the business has continued to expand and now offers online sales.
