Nice to meet you

So I’m Luke. I’ve got a beard. I’m a geek. I’m passionate about gaming and geekery, but just as important, I want to write about it.

This site is here to capture all my thoughts primarily on two things.

1. Gaming. Specifically the nintendo switch (though there may be others at times). It’s really reignited my love of gaming and I’m really loving all the indie games out there.
2. Geekery, mostly coding. I design and build websites, normally static sites based off html, css and js. I’m wanting to learn more about js and also things like APis and react.

So from a content perspective, this is what you’ll see.

Hopefully the reviews will be smart and punchy and the how to’s, whether small or large, will help others who are trying to accompolish something similar.

You want to know more? Ok. There’s a photo of me. Well, as much as I’m happy to put up anyway.

I live in York and work in IT as a business analyst. As such I’m get to see the full cycle of IT design and build. Sadly, you don’t get to actually do any of it. So thats where all this comes in.

I’m going to try blog as much as possible. It’ll be between work, rowing (another hobby, which takes a lot of time) and working on our allotment (don’t worry, no blog posts on that here).
