An animal per letter designed name print

Showcase - A Newborn bedroom print

I had a lot of fun designing this small commission for a poster for a young child's bedroom. A bright, playful design which went down a storm.

About the print

This commission was for a bedroom print for a young child. The idea was to have animals which spelt out the child’s name.

The design needed to be bright and playful, using simple animals for each letters.

With two A’s in the name, it wasn’t as easy to select the animals, but I think this came off great. Check out the final design below.

Alternative Design

As an alternative after the commission, I also applied an alternative style to the print, making it seem each part of the animal was made of felt and sewed onto each other.

I still cannot decide which one I prefer.
